Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of the television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas. There, she began a career as a physical therapist. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor on local independent films as well as global commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering that she enjoyed acting. After moving into New York and in 2001 she got her first role on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of the 2000s, she appeared in small parts for JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her debut major show was The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some amazing TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. The role that she is most remembered for was her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. This particular character earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She was Marisol Deko as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly more dark-hearted comedy Do No Harm. The show was canceled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The younger brother Cory is 10 years younger than her. She was raised in an environment that was strict and extremely spiritual. Milano started her acting career at age seven old. The babysitter took her for her first audition. Her audition was among over 1000 hopefuls. Milano was chosen as one of only four girls. Milano appeared in commercials for television and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
